Sculpting the light-matter interaction for optimal photonic manipulation. Article in Nature Photonics.

Jesper Glückstad of DTU Fotonik has an invited feature story in the latest issue of Nature Photonics where the exciting use of intricately sculpted light fields to control tiny objects is described.
Now the concept of sculpting the tiny objects rather than the light fields promises to propel light–matter research in exciting new directions using DTU invented topology optimization.
