"As part of DTU, the department aims to become and remain nationally and internationally acknowledged for its contributions to education in terms of graduating engineers at BSc-& MSc-levels, graduating & training researchers at PhD-level and as Post-Docs, continuing education for representatives from industry and an international masters course. In research, the department aims to continue to be among the leaders in its focused research areas. Also, the department aims to actively promote dissemination of knowledge, through collaboration and consulting with industry. Finally, the department aims to be an attractive and motivating work-place for everybody - students, faculty, technicians, secretaries, researchers, and guests."
