The 11th international symposium on Process Systems Engineering (PSE) took place in Singapore this year. A nine-strong team from CAPEC and PROCESS attended the conference which spanned a wide range of subjects, including process control & supervision, sustainability & environment, process & product design, modeling & simulations as well as keynote speakers comprising a range of leading authorities within the field.

The CAPEC/PROCESS team, headed by Prof. Rafiqul Gani, was presenting its latest research in both sessions and poster presentations at the conference. Attendance and interest in the poster sessions were very active, and PhD students Rita Lencastre Fernandes and Michele Mattei both received much interest, also from some of the authorities in the field.

Besides Professor Gani, the organizing committee faculty members are Professor John Woodley, Associate Professors Gürkan Sin and Krist Gernaey and Assistant Professor Jakob K. Huusom.
