A huge and important part of the departments research is carried out in close collaboration with industrial corporations and international research institutions. Our industry relations span from narrow collaborative projects with mutual exchange of employees over cooperation on experimental research (in areas ranging from microscale to design and test of pilotplants) to fullscale implementation of production plants.
Our close relations to the industry is an essential prerequisite for the development and efficient transfer of knowledge and technology for the benefit of society.
