DTU Informatics is by far the largest IT Institute in Denmark in both number of students and researchers. The department combines expertise in two core research areas: Mathematical Modelling and Computer Science and Engineering. This combination allows researchers and students to approach the challenges and problems of today in a strong interdisciplinary fashion, with a close interaction between methods and diverse scientific expertise.
