DTU Informatics has industrial collaboration with a long series of companies in a variety of business areas. Many types of collaboration takes places ranging from collaboration between colleagues and student projects over co-financed research projects to contractual research and licensing.
A series of public funds and research programmes are aimed a supporting this collboration between universities and industry. This goes for the EU and Nordic research progammes as well as a number of national initiatives. Among these we emphasize the Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation and the co-financed Ph.D. programmes sponsored by the Ministry of Science graduate schools and the industrial Ph.D. initiative.
