As a student you can specialize in several lines, e.g. systems/networks, hardware design (especially optical devices and components), software design (including signal processing) and applications of ICT.
Below, we list four recommended study lines, but the student may also make more individual selections to cover his or her special needs. Individual projects in the study may be performed partly in collaboration with industry or organizations. The Copenhagen area has many possibilities covering every type of work from development centers for worldwide companies to small start-up companies. Each study line contains courses which are relevant for the appropriate application area. The study lines are only recommendations, so it is not necessary to adhere to one of these lines to obtain the degree in telecommunication.
