Research
We are the department of light. We work on the design, fabrication and characterization of new types of optical devices based on the newest developments in nanotechnology, such as sensors, lasers, LEDs, photovoltaic elements and devices for all-optical signal processing, future quantum information technologies, ultra-high speed optical transmission systems, optimization of network layout and administration, data compression codes.
