The Department of Environmental Engineering has started a high level lecture series called the L.A. Colding Lecture Series. There will be 5-6 prominent speakers each year.
The lecture series is named after the founder of the Department of Environmental Engineering L.A.Colding, a famous engineer and scientist, who gave the first lecture in Environmental Engineering in 1865.
