From January 2013 to 30 June 2015 the Advisory Board of DTU Systems Biology consists of:
- Lars Kongsbak, Chief Executive Officer, Exiqon
- Ejner Bech Jensen, Vice President, Microbial Biotechnology, Novozymes A/S.
- Ole Dragsbæk Madsen, Professor, Director of Beta Cell Biology, Hagedorn Research Institute
- Mads Laustsen, CEO, CMC
- Birgitte Skadhauge, Research Director, Carlsberg Forskningslaboratorium
Currently, DTU Systems Biology seeks 2-3 new members from industry to replace three members who decided to leave the board.
The Advisory Board provides the Head of Department with advice and counselling on activities within education, research and innovation. The board is appointed by the Head of Department and consists of 6-8 external key partners. The board meets approximately 3-4 times a year on the Head of Department's initiative. According to the topics on the agenda, internal experts are invited to give their points of view.
DTU Board of Representatives
The Head of Department appoints two members for the DTU Board of Representatives. Lars Kongsbak and Mads Laustsen have been appointed as per November 2010 and re-appointed for the new period from January 2013 till June 2015. The Board of Representatives meets once a year to approve new external members of the DTU Board of Governors.
DTU Aftagerpanel ("client panel")
The Head of Department appoints one member for the DTU Aftagerpanel (deals with matters concerning education). Ejner Bech Jensen has been appointed from January 2013 till June 2015. The DTU Aftagerpanel holds 2-3 annual meetings dealing with matters concerning education and accreditation.
