As a PhD student you are placed on a pay grade based on whether you have been working after finishing your graduate studies.
As of 1 April 2012 the monthly salary less pension before tax amounts to:
Pay grade 4 (0 year seniority): DKK 25,041 (28,541 including pension)
Pay grade 4 (1 year seniority): DKK 25,041 (28,541 including pension)
Pay grade 5 (2 years seniority): DKK 26,914 (30,686 including pension)
Pay grade 6 (3 years seniority): DKK 28,621 (32,641 including pension)
Pay grade 8 (4 years seniority): DKK 30,303 (34,568 including pension)
