DTU’s international collaboration is based on three pillars:
-
Peer to peer collaboration/ research networks
-
International alliances and joint educational programmes
-
International campus environment
As part of the effort to strengthen and sustain DTU’s international position and to provide faculty and students with the best opportunities for engaging in cooperation with excellent universities throughout the world, DTU participates in a number of strategic partnerships and alliances with academic partners around the globe.
DTU considers the strong and close networks of universities sharing visions and ideas to be an important means to further internationalization. Through strategic partnerships and alliances, cooperation on a horizontal and vertical axis can be advanced, for example, by collaboration in research areas where synergy and complementing competences are identified, and also within IPR, student services, HR, as well as management and administration, where best practice and ideas can be shared and tested.
