DANCHIP –A national facility for cleanroom processing of
micro- and nanotechnology
DANCHIP is a center at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) with focus on process technology for micro- and nanotechnology. We are central to the development of micro- and nanotechnology in Denmark and abroad, as we both operate and maintain modern cleanroom facilities enabling optimum processing and develop broad technology bases – often in collaboration with our partners. Access to our facilities are offered to our partners for their further development and exploitation of the technologies, and this mutual active participation are indeed a trademark for our operation. We thereby facilitate a continuous expansion of existing technology bases, competences and strongholds, as well as we nurture establishment of new research and development areas within micro- and nanotechnology.
Our mission is to provide our partners with the optimum starting point and sustainable settings for research, education, proto-typing, and small-scale production within micro- and nanotechnology. We do this by making a state-of-the-art cleanroom facility with advanced and specialised equipment, in addition to a comprehensive process and competence base and a collaborative and innovative environment available to our partners. Our vision is to make value-adding processing within micro- and nanotechnology available to as many parts of research, industry and society as possible.
