DTU communicates the most recent technical and scientific knowledge to businesses, trades and individuals. This is done through an adequate and professional supply of supplementary and further education based on DTU’s academic core areas.
The teaching is based on the most recent research results and is performed at a high academic level by renowned researchers.
DTU offers research-based qualifications development in the form of open university courses and master’s programmes. DTU also develops custom-made individual and goal-oriented courses.

Open university courses
Through dialogue with the business sector, DTU has developed a number of qualification development courses within specific academic fields.
Master’s programmes
DTU offers seven master’s programmes. These are all two-year long business-oriented part-time programmes.
Development of qualification programmes
When there is an actual demand, DTU develops individual and goal-oriented qualification development courses within the university’s academic core areas.
Part-time courses
Most of DTU’s standard courses for engineering students are also offered as supplementary and further education.
