A new consortium formed by Danish industrial companies, DTU and Copenhagen University has been granted a substantial sum by the Danish Council for Technology and Innovation
Our Automation and Control Group is part of this consortium with a total budget of 18.2m DKK.
The development of real-time operated robots will cost-effective and improve the working environment at Danish slaughter houses and so the global competitive position can be sustained. The sensor- and robot solutions demonstrated by the consortium will be solutions which can be used to solve many similar problems, not only within the meat industry, but also in work processes in general, where dynamic adjustments to each single workpiece is a must.
